Gate City Charter School for the Arts

 

The mission of the Gate City Charter School for the Arts is to use an arts-integrated curriculum to produce creative graduates who excel in both academics and the arts.

Our public charter school is tuition free and offers the opportunity to all grades K–8 children in the Greater Nashua area to participate regardless of families’ economic means. The standard areas of curriculum including Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies are all enhanced with music, fine arts, and dramatic arts. The coming school year will bring 180 students to our doors: 70% from Nashua, and 30% from Merrimack and surrounding towns.  As a public charter school, the Gate City Charter School for the Arts receives per pupil funding at less than half the state average for traditional public schools. We need parent, community, and business support to help make the dream of a high-quality local arts-infused education a reality.
